A Dinghy Kind of Weekend

Thanks to Captain Ty Price– who was nice enough to lend us his dinghy for the weekend– my wife and I were able to spend a couple of days on the water in the Florida Keys, exploring the islands and flats around Duck Key, home to Hawks Cay Resort.

There is a great little beach on the island adjacent to Duck Key (Tom’s Island)- where Jen and I spent the weekend exploring, fishing, swimming- and on Sunday- waiting out a storm.

Here are a few pics from the weekend, including a photo of myself fighting (and then losing- boooo!!!) a nice bonefish . It may not be smartest thing to cast a sharp hook from a ‘rubber boat,’ but don’t worry Ty– I’m always extremely careful!!!
